BAMM Fight Gear is launching a limited edition as an official launch of our new logo. This limited edition is a collaboration with Moluccan Fighters and DOMINIQUE contemporary artist. 

We are proud and pleased to announce our limited edition colaboration fight gear set (gloves / shinguards): a collaboration between BAMM Fight Gear, Moluccan Fighters and the Moluccan contemporary artist DOMINIQUE.

DOMINIQUE [Dominique Latoel, 1980] started his career in the 90’s as a graphic designer with a strong affection in street art culture. His early signature work got him into working for A list clients such as Adidas, Footlocker, Nike EU/NYC, Patagonia, Fuji Film, ONE Championship to name a few. These experiences fed his drive in development towards personal growth of insights, which show in his own artistic projects. As an artist with Alifuru roots (the Indigenous people of the Moluccan Islands), it’s important for him to keep the Alifuru culture alive and to share it with the world. They are strongly connected with nature as with the spiritual world where symbols are an important element. These signs tell the stories of their bond with nature and spirit guides. They function like a compass. Heavily inspired by native art, his symbols are a creation based on the Indigenous language.

He feels to express his emotions on a deeper level, continues to develop. His work has recently been featured in exhibitions at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Street Art Festival Stockholm, Museum Maluku The Hague, Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Tokyo Int. Art Fair and became ambassador for Moluccan Future Foundation.
It’s the first time DOMINIQUE collaborate with a sports brand and we’re really proud and honored to have the Moluccan Fighters movement involved as well.

This Colab is one of a kind, as now his art work is also available on BAMM Fight Gear and we are honored to have the Moluccan Fighter movement involved as well.  Moluccan Fighters is an international platform of fighters who train together and share knowledge. The Moluccan Fighters is founded by Mika Tahitu and exist out of a core of Moluccan (semi) pro fighters. Currently MF has branches in Netherlands, Bali (Indonesia), Belem (Brazil), Curacao (Caribbean) & London (UK).
